Projects

  • ChikuPiku foundation is trying to bring co-curricular activities for underserved children in the form of creatively composed programs, dramas and storytelling sessions.
  • Artists and storytellers tour around different schools, learning centers, Anganwadis etc where rural and underserved children too can have the exposure to constructive entertainment, stories, songs and they can learn to express themselves through fun activities.
  • Use of different musical instruments, beautifully painted backdrops or pictures with colourful characters and books are all the elements that will make the experience more enriching for the impressionable young minds!

What is the purpose?

Early experiences are truly the building blocks for the brain and personality development. For the set of children who are struggling to get a good education, food and care are the last ones to get any exposure to varied co-curricular activities which are important for the all-around development. ChikuPiku Foundation aims to fill this gap and not let such experiences be the privilege for only a few. In the screen impacted era, it is all the more important to showcase the importance of real and tangible activities like these. Anubhav Khidki emphasizes on the importance of books, reading habits, art forms and hobbies too which are all the important facets of experiential learning.

Team

ChikuPiku Foundation has a vast network of artists, actors, theater groups, experts and storytellers that are working in the children’s sector and share the same passion for reaching out to as many children as possible and adding value to their lives. Such talented young artists and musicians along with members from the ChikuPiku Foundation team have already performed at several special schools and learning centers for underprivileged children.
Join us as a volunteer and contribute to our initiatives. We need like-minded people to drive our cause ahead.
